Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is widely praised for her pioneering the science of eyewitness memory in children as well as using children who have been abused to be legal witnesses. Professor Goodman published widely and has won several grants and was awarded numerous international and national prizes. She has consulted with various nations and organizations around the globe regarding policy and the research of child abuse in the justice system. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman belongs to Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was head of the American Psychological Association's three divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
