The artist has already recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's support for her track Runaway via a blog post brought the singer additional recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano in her basement and becoming enthralled by the sounds it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not as an income or as a pastime and as a way to develop. For this reason she wrote her first songs that were her own creations. As well as Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. When her mother told her that her songs could not only help her achieve fame and also inspire others to see their value to the world and appreciate the possibilities for her songs and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. The piano was first played by her when she was six years old and was writing her first song when she was nine. The family did not know about this until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's success was never the goal of her. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. To her music, is the most effective method of expressing anything.
